Tijjani Galadima · APC Governorship Candidate
About the candidate
Meet Tijjani Galadima
Ahmed Tijjani Galadima spent his working life inside one of Nigeria's most demanding public institutions. At the Petroleum Technology Development Fund, where he rose to Executive Secretary, he ran the scholarship and training programmes that sent thousands of young Nigerians into skilled jobs in oil and gas. He left the Fund known for one thing above all: doing things properly.
In March 2026 he resigned that appointment to come home and contest. Two months later, APC delegates from across the state handed him the governorship ticket with more than 414,000 primary votes, the widest margin of any aspirant.
He is running because Adamawa's problems are practical, not mysterious. Schools short of teachers. Clinics short of drugs. Farmers left to face the market alone. Budgets nobody outside Government House ever sees. He believes the discipline that trained a generation at PTDF can be brought to bear on all of it, and this website is the first proof: every naira this campaign raises and spends is published for anyone to inspect.
Priorities
What we will do
Teachers first
Too many classrooms in this state have pupils but no teacher in front of them. We will recruit and train teachers, fix the worst school buildings before the fine ones, and pay bursaries when they are due, not when it is convenient.
Clinics that actually treat people
A health centre with no drugs and no staff is just a signboard. Ward by ward, we will stock and staff primary health centres, starting in the places where mothers and children are most at risk.
Back the farmer
Most Adamawa families live from the land. Fertiliser and seed should reach real farmers, not middlemen, and rural roads should carry the harvest to market before it spoils.
Safety in every LGA
Nobody plants, trades or studies while afraid. We will sit with traditional rulers, community groups and the security agencies, and keep at it until every one of our 21 local governments is safe to live and work in.
Work for young people
Adamawa's young people are leaving to look for work other states created. Skills training, support for small businesses and honest procurement that favours local firms will let them build a life here.
A government you can audit
Budgets published. Contracts published. The standard you can check on this website's donation ledger today is the standard we will hold the state's books to tomorrow.
Support the campaign
Every naira, publicly accounted for
We publish every donation we receive and every expense we make on a ledger that cannot be quietly edited. Check it before you give. Check it again after.
